It featured a new headtube design and was one of the first decks they dropped that came bigger than 5" wide other than the Lindworm V3. The Vulcain deck came straight out of the box 12 STD ready but includes 8mm STD spacers so the customer could still ride the traditional 24mm wide wheels. Ethic decided to drop both boxed and standard versions of the Vulcain, and this model is Boxed! It still comes in 2 size variants being 20.9"/530mm and 22"/560mm, .
